What a cake!

DSCN0116On Saturday TayLP hosted a Clay Building focussed coffee morning, with the help of PKHT’s Andrew Driver and local Mud Mason Becky Little. The event was a great success with over 60 local people turning out to find out more about the various projects, as well as the upcoming EBUK ClaDSCN0108yfest in June. Many who joined us gave lots of new information on the buildings in Errol, further highlighting the important local tradition of the area. Big thanks to all who brought snippets of info and showed their support. As well as information for the adults the kids had fun making clay pots and critters too.

Special thanks go to Errol Village Hall and in particular Lorraine who made an amazing cake of her own clay house in Errol – not only was it beautiful it was delicious too!

We are keen to map the extent of the clay buildings across the TayLP area – if you have any information on clay buildings please contact Sophie.Nicol@pkht.org.uk.
