A major milestone reached in the Forteviot Pictish Stones project last week with the conserved fragments of Pictish stones finally installed into a modified area of the church. Huge thanks to everyone in the Kirk Session and community for their ongoing support and enthusiasm.
Our contractors we fantastic and we would like to thank the talented Jonny and Jamie of Dalmack Joinery who did some fantastic conservation grade joinery to get the interior ready to hold the display, and Richard West of Lightly West for his clever mount design and conservation work.
You can visit the stones back in their home at the Forteviot Fete on Sat 20th August or during Doors Open Days on Sat 24th September.
