Paths and Trails

Paths and trails allow us all to get out and enjoy our landscape.

We use them for active travel and for recreation.

Experience your local environment from a different perspective.

Paths and trails can take you to a heritage site, natural habitat or viewpoint you wouldn’t otherwise see. Along the way you might see a plant, animal or bird that you haven’t encountered before, or learn something new about our heritage or landscape. Our paths and trails will provide more opportunities to get down to, alongside and out on the river.

The Tay Landscape Partnership Area

The Tay Landscape stretches from Newburgh on the south side of the Tay Estuary around to Perth and along the Carse to Dundee.

The project, a £2.6 million initiative is principally funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, will enable locals and visitors to reconnect with the natural, built and cultural heritage of the area.
